About Dr. Kaitlin Hill
I am a Licensed Psychologist specializing in the treatment of OCD, anxiety, and eating disorders in older adolescents and adults. I provide highly individualized, compassionate care focused on helping the people I work with move from a life controlled by fear to a life filled with freedom and possibility. This is important, vulnerable work, and it is critical to me that my patients have a therapeutic space that is safe, affirming, non-judgmental, and empowering.
My approach centers on using treatments that have been proven to work and tailoring them to each patient's unique values, history, and goals. My work is grounded in the gold standards: Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, Enhanced Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT-E) and Family-Based Treatment (FBT) for eating disorders, and exposure-based CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) across the anxiety spectrum, all aimed at lasting behavioral change. For patients whose symptoms are significantly impairing, or who simply want to move faster than a weekly session allows, I also offer intensive treatment for OCD and anxiety and for eating disorders.
I have been so fortunate to train under the mentorship of some of the foremost experts in the field, across every level of care. My eating disorder training began at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa, where I spent several years in the university's Eating Disorders Clinic working closely with Dr. Kelly Vitousek, a pioneer of CBT for eating disorders.
I completed my predoctoral internship at Rogers Behavioral Health's Adult OCD Residential Center in Wisconsin, then stayed on as Clinical Supervisor of its Adult Inpatient and Residential Eating Disorders Centers, where I helped build the curriculum that went on to shape the eating-disorder service line across Rogers locations nationally. From there I joined the OCD Institute of Texas, treating adults and adolescents across residential, partial hospitalization, and outpatient care.
The result is depth across the full diagnostic range: the most severe and complex OCD, anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and ARFID.
I am also passionate about increasing access to, and comfort in, high-quality therapeutic care for historically marginalized communities, and I have experience working with people from a wide diversity of backgrounds. Alongside my commitment to evidence-based practice, I strive to be systems-informed and justice-based in my approach.

Frequently Asked Questions
Dr. Hill's primary specialties are OCD, anxiety disorders, and eating disorders, the three areas where she has the deepest training and clinical experience. She also treats trauma, depression, and mood disorders, and frequently works with patients whose presentations involve co-occurring conditions across these categories.
Dr. Hill provides care both in-person in Houston, Texas and via secure telehealth. Sessions are available to patients across Texas and Hawaii (where she holds direct licensure), plus 40+ PSYPACT-participating states. Telehealth delivers the same standard of specialist care as in-person work; the research base is robust and patient outcomes are equivalent. For patients in our other in-person cities (Boca Raton and Denver), we will match you with the appropriate local clinician.
Dr. Hill works with older teens and adults. For younger children with OCD, anxiety, or eating disorders, other members of the Evidence-Based Treatment Institute team may be a better fit, and we will let you know that during the initial consultation if it applies to your situation.
Dr. Hill uses the gold-standard evidence-based treatments for the conditions she specializes in: ERP for OCD, CBT-E and Family-Based Treatment (FBT) for eating disorders, CBT, ACT, and graduated exposure for anxiety, Prolonged Exposure for PTSD. She also draws on DBT, Behavioral Activation, and Motivational Interviewing as clinical needs require. The treatment is matched to the presentation, not applied generically.
The Evidence-Based Treatment Institute is a private-pay practice. We provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement, and many patients with PPO plans recover a meaningful portion of fees. HSA and FSA cards are accepted. Full details are on our Fees & Insurance page.
